THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW MULTIPURPOSE SPORTS COURT HAS STARTED IN THE “VIDOBISHTA” NEIGHBORHOOD
Mayor Kiril Petsakov and Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski today inspected the work activities for the construction of a multi-purpose sports field in the “Vidobishta” neighborhood.
Mayor Petsakov emphasized that with the construction of this multifunctional playground, the Municipality of Ohrid continues to invest in the sports infrastructure, which is of great importance for the proper growth and development of the youngest.
The playground, which will be used for football and handball, extends over an area of 1320m2, and a specialized rubberized surface of 230m2 will be placed on it. In addition to the part intended for sports, the entire area will be horticulturally landscaped and appropriate lighting will be installed.
The value of this investment is 7,622,151 denars and it is fully financed from the budget of the Municipality of Ohrid.
As part of today’s work agenda, Mayor Petzakov together with the Minister of Sports, Borko Ristoski, also inspected the condition of the closed swimming pool in Ohrid, the construction of which has not yet been completed. During the visit, it was emphasized that all efforts will be made to finish the construction of this capital building as soon as possible.
